Our mission

To assist in the delivery of the best care and health services for adult and geriatric clients, whether in skilled nursing facilities, community based residential facilities, or within the client’s home.

We go back to the roots of medicine and bring care to the patient, rather than the other way around, creating a comfortable, convenient, and in many cases safer medical services provider experience.

With more than 18 years of experience in healthcare and a constant desire to learn and improve what we can do for our clients, Apollo Senior Care , LLC offers innovation and compassion at the same time.

Apollo Senior Care, LLC - Where Taking Care of Your Loved Ones Is Our Passion

If the last few years have shown us anything, we know how we get the help we need with our day-to-day needs has changed.

With these changes, Apollo Senior Care has looked to the past to set the future for the best possible care for our clients.

The house-call is a long-lost service which held a great deal of value, both to the provider, as well as the patient.  Why is that?

For the patient, a house call means when you’re already feeling poor or in pain, you don’t have to deal with a trip out of the house.  No waiting rooms, no check-ins, no exposure to illness – the list goes on and on.

For the provider, it means getting to help with the patient where they are the most comfortable, where their stress level is most likely the lowest and certainly not elevated because they’re in an uncomfortable environment.

For both the provider and the patient, a house call is a far more cost-effective option from many viewpoints – especially considering a house call could help eliminate a more costly urgent care visit or even higher cost emergency room.

But how do we do it?

How to have Apollo come to you

nature, texture, iceland, moody, photography, otherworldly iceland, underground, underworld, otherwordly, woodland,

Whether you’re at home in a house, or at home in an assisted living facility or community based residential facility, you make an appointment with Apollo to come and see you.  We have a few ways for you to do that:

  • By a phone call

    • 1-715-298-1117

  • Online with our live scheduling

    • (coming soon)

  • Coordinate through your ALF/CBRF care team to have us come see you.

Remember sitting in a waiting room or sitting alone in an exam room when your provider gets behind?

We can’t kid around here, some days we get behind too, taking care of our clients needs more time.  On our team, we are in constant contact and can let you know where we are in the schedule for the day so you can adjust if necessary.

We review our next day, the night before, and plan out for the best possible time focus for our clients.

What’s our objective and how do we do it?

Our biggest goal is to understand how you are at your best.  We don’t want to just solve a problem; we want to help make sure you’re as close to your 100% as possible.

How are you, physically?

Our body doesn’t always work at 100% but it’s pretty good at telling us when something is not right. Pain, soreness, aches, rash, fever, headache, spasms, fatigue; all ways that our body lets us know it needs something to be back to normal. We trace the symptom back to its source and deal with both the symptom and the cause.

How are you emotionally?

Life throws a ton at us and while we can be quite resilient, there are days when we just need to step back and assess our emotional selves. Understand what we’re going through and having help to work through those situations helps insure we’re at 100% emotionally, which has direct impact on us physically.

How are you socially?

Are we able to get out and be social and fill that part of our emotional need to be our best? What is our support network for whatever life is going to throw at us. While Apollo may not be able to solve all the parts of social needs, we can help hook up the resources and outlets for your best social health.

We treat the whole person, taking what we know and helping our client, who knows themselves best, be their best.

A wholistic approach to medical care is how we feel our clients can be their healthiest.

What all can we do?

For the most part, anything that can be done in the doctors’ office, we can bring to you. Some things, like lab draws, we can do right on the spot. Other things, like imaging, we work with some very talented and trusted groups to bring the equipment to you and then the results are sent right to us.

When are we typically available?

Typically, we’re more available than a typical doctor’s office.  Our standard scheduling starts at 8:00 AM CST and finishes up around 7:00 PM CST.  That’s what’s typical but we all know that sometimes feeling under the weather doesn’t happen during “standard business hours”.  Depending on the situation, visits can be scheduled outside of those times too.  While we offer a wider range of scheduling, our services should never be called first or replaced when an emergency visit is needed.  We are not 911.

Who do we work with?

We can coordinate services with any other providers and specialties necessary for you.

What if you already have a PCP?

That’s perfectly great, we’re happy to work with them as well; in this situation you can work with Apollo to handle acute situations for you. Things like colds, flu, cough, congestion, pain, urinary tract infection symptoms, fall follow ups are perfect ways for us to help you with your PCP as well.

Can we do same day appointments?

It’s very possible, yes.  Depending on what’s booked into the day already, it’s not impossible to fit a same day appointment in.

Does this cost me anything?

We don’t charge any extra charge than what typical office visits cost.  We work with your insurance(s) so you’d see nothing more in a bill from us than what would be left after your insurance processed your claim.  There isn’t a special charge because we’re coming to you.

If there are copays, deductibles, or coinsurance or uncovered services, we will bill you after insurance has been processed. All-in-all, no different than any other doctor visit.

We handle all the major insurance carriers and generally work up to three levels of insurance for you. We submit the claims and our system will coordinate benefits all the way around before coming up with a final balance for you, if one is due.

Who is taking care of me?

Our primary Advanced Practice Practitioner is Jessie Ryan-Geiger, APNP-BC.  Jess is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice.

In her 18+ years in the medical field, Jess has worked very hard to constantly learn how to meet the needs of her clients and provide the best care possible.  She has worked in both assisted living facilities as well as skilled nursing facilities.

Throughout her time, she’s found her best focus comes from working with our aged population, with a special attention to helping with those with Dementia and Alzheimer as part of their lives.

In any client Jess has the privilege to work with, she wants to ensure she’s not just treating the condition at hand.

She works to ensure the client is as whole as possible in her care. Jess has built her medical career on this principle and is building this medical practice on that principle as well.

Jess has extensive experience in wound management, diabetes management, pain management, palliative care approach, as well as hospice experience and mental health management.

Jess is also able to prescribe medications for medication management as well as order diagnostics and make referrals to specialty clinics as needed.
